How do they manifest?

People with bags or dark circles show a tired person image, with little energy. With the intervention, your gaze will become more energetic, rejuvenated and vital.

 

How is it corrected?
The surgical solution consists of removing or repositioning the fat of the lower eyelid (lower blepharoplasty) through a small incision on the inside of the eyelid (transconjunctival), thus being a surgery that does not leave visible scars. Before proceeding to the intervention, we must evaluate the characteristics of the eyelid, degree of tension and laxity, age, characteristics of the bags and furrows or dark circles. Lower blepharoplasty can be associated with other surgical and non-surgical procedures to optimize lower eyelid rejuvenation such as:
  • A skin blepharoplasty: allows the excess skin to be removed if it exists.

  • Lipoestructura® o lipofilling periocular.
  • Toxina botulínica (Botox®, Vistabel®).

The scars are hidden under the natural folds of the skin, being invisible. It is a surgery lasting between 45 minutes and 2 hours whose results are quite spectacular, as is the upper eyelid blepharoplasty.

The intervention is performed on an outpatient basis and under local anesthesia, which makes it unnecessary for the patient to be admitted to hospital, being able to perform the postoperative period in his own home following the instructions of his oculoplastic ophthalmologist.

 

Are there risks or complications?
